German Mineral water companies are allowed to continue pumping water from the national park.
Two mineral water companies from Schwollen are allowed to continue pumping water from the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park for the time being. The Koblenz Administrative Court granted two preliminary injunctions.
The companies “Hochwald Sprudel” and “Schwollener Sprudel” are allowed to continue extracting water from the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park for the time being. This was decided by the Koblenz Administrative Court . The companies had filed two urgent applications seeking to continue using their wells, despite the Northern Structural and Approval Directorate (SGD Nord) having prohibited this at the end of April.
