The Arab Countries Water Utilities Association (ACWUA) successfully concluded the Climate-Resilient Water Safety Planning (CRWSP) training programme, held from 11–16 July 2026, with the participation of a delegation from Libya’s water sector.
The programme was implemented in collaboration with the IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute and with the support of UNICEF. It aimed to strengthen participants’ capacities in developing and implementing Climate-Resilient Water Safety Plans in line with international best practices. The programme included interactive training sessions, practical exercises, and case studies focusing on risk assessment and management, enhancing the readiness of national professionals to apply these methodologies within Libya’s water sector.
