Systems change rarely happens all at once.
When we think about transformation, it is easy to imagine dramatic breakthroughs.
A new policy.
A major investment.
A bold reform.
Each can contribute to meaningful progress.
But lasting change often unfolds differently.
It is built through many small improvements that reinforce one another over time.
Institutions become stronger.
Communities build capacity.
Partnerships deepen.
Knowledge grows.
Individually, these changes may appear modest.
But together, they create the conditions for meaningful and lasting change.
And perhaps one of the greatest lessons from development practice is that lasting change is rarely the result of a single breakthrough.
More often, it is the cumulative effect of many consistent improvements sustained over time.
