Burnham is promising “greater public control over key utilities including water, energy and transport”.
The problem is water and energy are *already* in public control – and regulation has failed for 40 years.
Public control and public ownership are not the same thing! Water in England is already in public control. That’s why we need PUBLIC OWNERSHIP.
Burnham must deliver PUBLIC OWNERSHIP to stop the privatisation rip off.
