Yorkshire Wants Its Water Back

The Yorkshire Mayors are going to launch a campaign for public ownership of water, supporting ‘The People’s Commission‘ findings. 

Yorkshire Mayors Dirty Business Screening Event. 

6th August 1.30pm St Georges Church, Leeds. 

Mayor Tracy Brabin is calling for public ownership of water. 

We are holding a screening of clips of Dirty Business with a panel of the real people featured in the docudrama. Come and meet Ash Smith, Peter Hammond, Rob Forrester (the real EA whistleblower), Cliff Roney (the real Thames water worker). The event is chaired by Joseph Bullman the producer of Dirty Business. The Yorkshire Mayors will be responding with what they are doing to clean up our waterways and the campaign to get Yorkshire Water, and other water companies into public ownership.
