From Sean Fury, Swiss Blue Community Skat Foundation, and the Rural Water Supply Network RSWN it is chairing:
I would like to share the work being pioneered by the RWSN Ecuador Chapter, Corporación Agua Para Todos. I strongley recommend following their journey because they are doing a lot of interesting innovation in rural WASH – without international aid, instead building domestic funding and delivery partnerships.
💧We launched Blue Municipalities, an initiative that was born with a clear purpose: to transform lives through water.
Because when a community has safe water, there is more health, stronger children, more productive families and better protected water sources.
In this first stage, we will strengthen the capacities of 20 drinking water and sanitation boards in the canton of Santa Elena, benefiting about 30,000 people.
This project is possible thanks to the support of the Sumar Juntos Program of Pichincha Bank, whose commitment demonstrates that collaboration between the private sector and civil society can make a real impact.
Thanks also to the water boards, our strategic allies, and all the institutions that believe that access to safe water is the basis for a healthier, more productive, and resilient Ecuador.
