The Blue Community is delighted to welcome its first partner in Yemen, the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NAHR). The MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) is the latest chapter added to the global Blue Community. With NAHR, a third partner joins the regional chapter.
Based in Aden, the ancient port city in the southern part of the Arabian peninsula and the de facto capital of Yemen since 2014, the National Foundation for Development and Humanitarian Response (NAHR) is a not-for-profit and non-governmental organization that was established in June 2012 to enhance the community participation in service provision, advocate and monitor policies, encourage women and youth participation at local and national levels, and build resilience of societies affected by natural crises or armed conflicts.
