The Blue Community MENA is proud to welcome two highly profiled and respected academics as supporters and advisors. Prof. Muntasir Alshareef from the Blue Community / Blue University MTU – Middle Technical University, Baghdad, Iraq, is introducing them.

Prof. Dr. Sadeq Oleiwi Sulaiman, Professor of Water Resources Engineering at the University of Anbar, Iraq.
Prof. Dr. Sadeq Oleiwi Sulaiman is a prominent academic and researcher specializing in Water Resources Engineering and Hydrology at the Department of Water Resources Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Anbar, Iraq.
Key Areas of Expertise: Water Harvesting & Drought Management: Specialized in the modeling and design of rainwater harvesting systems, surface runoff management, and climate change adaptation strategies in arid and semi-arid regions.
Hydrological Modeling & Geo-Spatial Technologies: Extensive focus on integrating GIS and Remote Sensing (RS) applications for hydrological cycle modeling, watershed management, selection of micro-dam sites, and artificial groundwater recharge.
Research & Academic Impact: Author of numerous peer-reviewed research papers published in top-tier international journals indexed in Scopus and Clarivate. He serves as a reviewer for several international journals and scientific conferences on sustainable water management.
Supervision & Advisory Roles: Supervised multiple Ph.D. and Master’s theses and provides expert engineering consultations to public institutions and international organizations on river basin management, water scarcity solutions, and environmental protection in western Iraq.

Specialization: River Hydraulics, Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), and Hydraulic Structures.
Prof. Dr. Khassaf is a renowned authority in water engineering in Iraq, with extensive academic and field experience regarding the severe salinity and water scarcity issues in the lower Tigris-Euphrates basin. His participation will bring invaluable insight from a critical geographic zone.
