Today I remember the path we embarked on in 2019 to defend the water, life, and future of San Marcos. While we clash over politics and fleeting interests, let’s not forget what is essential: Water. Our struggle was born because we have witnessed the drying up and destruction of lagoons, rivers, and springs, and the pollution that worries our population. We cannot remain distracted while the future of our children is at stake. Without water, there is no agriculture, no health, no development, no life. Defending water is defending our dignity, our land, and the future of San Marcos. And in this cause, we will never give up!
