From the Blue Community Integrated Social Development Effort (ISDE), Bangladesh:

Strengthening Community-Led Development through Local Partnerships

As part of the Partners for Prosperity (PFP) Project, ISDE Bangladesh has disbursed the final instalment of project funding to six Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) working at the grassroots level:
• Ushar Alo Jubo Shongho
• Monzil Sangstha
• SOCEP
• Social Development Society
• Youth Voice for Change
• Shopno Nari Unnayan Sangstha
The funding will support these CBOs in continuing their community-led development initiatives and addressing locally identified needs through meaningful grassroots action.
The fund disbursement event was attended by Mr. S. M. Nazir Hossain, Executive Director, ISDE Bangladesh; Mr. Jahangir Alam, Programme Coordinator, ISDE Bangladesh; Mr. Raisul Islam, Project Officer, ISDE Bangladesh and Community Support Officer, PFP Project; along with representatives from the participating Community-Based Organizations.
The PFP Project demonstrates ISDE Bangladesh’s continued commitment to strengthening local organizations, fostering community participation, and promoting sustainable and inclusive development. The project is financially supported by Muslim Charity UK, whose partnership is contributing to creating greater opportunities for communities to lead and shape their own development.
For more than three decades, ISDE Bangladesh has been working to advance sustainable development and empower communities across Bangladesh. We believe that sustainable change begins at the community level, and strong local organizations are at the heart of that change.

Together, we continue to strengthen communities, amplify local leadership, and create pathways towards a more inclusive and resilient future.
