Blue Ambassadors are eminent experts, scientists, journalists, etc. in the field of water and sanitation. They oppose the commodification and privatization of water. They promote the human rights to water and sanitation for all people everywhere. They support the goal of clean, accessible, public water for all.

• are invited to support and eventually participate in public campaigns against water privatization and in support of the human right to water and sanitation.
• are asked to help in promoting cities, universities, institutions, and organizations to become a Blue Community.
