ustGreenTz is a youth- and women-led environmental organization dedicated to advancing environmental protection, climate action, sustainable community development, and social inclusion across Tanzania. Founded in May 2025, the organization was established in response to the growing need for community-driven and inclusive solutions to environmental and climate challenges. We work to empower youth, women, persons with disabilities, and underserved communities through environmental education, advocacy, capacity building, and sustainable development initiatives. Our work spans climate resilience, renewable energy, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), waste reduction, waste-to-art innovation, environmental justice, and natural resource conservation. By fostering partnerships and encouraging active community participation, JustGreenTz aims to create a greener, healthier, and more sustainable future where everyone has the opportunity to contribute to and benefit from environmental progress.

OUR OBJECTIVES
- Empower Communities – Equip youth, women, persons with disabilities, and people from all backgrounds with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed to drive environmental, WASH, climate, and sustainable development initiatives in their communities.
- Promote Sustainability – Protect natural resources, improve access to clean water and sanitation, support renewable energy solutions, reduce waste and environmental degradation, and strengthen climate resilience.
- Advocate for Environmental and Social Justice – Champion policies and actions that ensure equitable access to a safe, healthy, and sustainable environment, clean water, sanitation, clean energy, and opportunities for all.
- Foster Collaboration and Inclusion – Build strong partnerships among communities, organizations, institutions, and stakeholders while ensuring meaningful participation of all people, regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity, ability, or background.
- Advance Circular Economy and Creative Innovation – Promote waste reduction, recycling, upcycling, and waste-to-art initiatives that transform waste into valuable resources, create livelihoods, and encourage environmental stewardship.
- Inspire Environmental Responsibility – Raise awareness and encourage individuals, communities, and institutions to adopt sustainable practices that protect the environment, conserve water resources, reduce waste, and support renewable energy adoption.
