Blue Community Canada
The Blue Community Canada, the very heart of the Blue Community movement, is hosted and coordinated by the Council of Canadians. It includes some 50 cities (see Blue Cities), several universities (see Blue Universities), a national trade-union and other organizations and institutions.

Blue Communities in the USA
In the US, the cities of Los Angeles and Northampton, Massachusetts, have committed to the Blue Community pledges. Ahead of World Water Day 2026, the US-based non-profit company Blue Filter joined the Blue Community.
