Blue Filter is a non-commercial company based in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA, and registered in Gaza, Palestine, founded by the Palestinian environmental innovator and Blue Community Ambassador Salah El Sadi. He states:
«We become a Blue Community because we strongly believe that access to clean and safe water is a fundamental human right and a critical foundation for human dignity, public health, and sustainable development. Through the Blue Filter initiative, our work focuses on developing affordable and environmentally sustainable water purification solutions that can help communities access safe drinking water, especially in regions affected by water scarcity, pollution, and humanitarian crises.»
Ahead of World Water Day 2026, Blue Filter joined the Blue Community (see here).
