Prime Minister Mark Carney and the Liberal government must honour their commitment to doing things differently. Blanket policies that undermine provincial and territorial water regulations are harmful to First Nations across the country.
This new federal government must work to enshrine legislation like Bill C-61 that ensure Indigenous communities have access to safe, clean water.
