Grassroots Action at MTU: Launching Student-Led Blue Community Hub in Baghdad.
I am excited to share a concrete step forward from here at Middle Technical University (MTU) in Baghdad. We have established a dedicated core group of motivated engineering students and young researchers who will serve as the anchor for expanding the Blue Community & Blue University Network on our campus. Through interactive sessions, we are translating our core principles into practical, student-led action.
Our students are working on applying smart water management, non-revenue water (NRW) reduction, and ethical AI/IoT monitoring to address real-world water challenges in Iraq. Attached are a few impressions capturing our classroom discussions, team setup, and our vision for empowering these young stewards as co-researchers and leaders.
