555 years of drinking water supply in St. Gallen.
The city of St. Gallen has been supplied with drinking water for 555 years. In 2026, the St. Gallen municipal utilities will take this special anniversary as an opportunity to look back, share knowledge about drinking water, and celebrate together with the public.
The highlight of our anniversary year was our event on August 22, 2026, at Gallusplatz. Numerous visitors took the opportunity to learn more about St. Gallen’s drinking water supply and to talk to our staff. Many thanks to everyone who celebrated with us.
