🌧️ LAUNCH OF THE “ZERO DEATHS THIS RAINY SEASON” CAMPAIGN 🌧️.
Faced with the heavy rains currently affecting several areas of our country, the images of people swept away by floodwaters, submerged vehicles, and families left devastated remind us of a worrying reality: every year, lives can be lost due to risky behavior.
Because every life counts, the Green Village and Solidarity Initiative (I2VS), with its partners, is launching the national awareness campaign starting Monday, June 8th:
🔵 “ZERO DEATHS THIS RAINY SEASON”
For several days, prevention messages will be shared on WhatsApp, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms to promote safe practices to adopt during this rainy season.
✅ Do not drive through flooded areas
✅ Avoid downed power lines
✅ Slow down and light your fires in the rain
✅ Supervise children near gutters and standing water
✅ Prepare your home before heavy rains
✅ Do not throw trash in gutters
Prevention saves lives. Together, let’s adopt the right behaviors to protect our families, loved ones, and communities.
