A meaningful and unexpected meeting at Hotel Fortune, Bhubaneswar!
As members of the Blue Community, Dr. Samir Kumar Sahu, Mayurbhanj Biological Research MBR India, and Shridhar Pandey had the opportunity to meet and discuss strengthening the Blue Community movement in the Uttar Pradesh and Odisha chapters.
Our discussion focused on a common challenge faced by both states: water. While some regions suffer from devastating floods due to excess water, others struggle with drought and the alarming depletion of groundwater. These contrasting realities highlight the urgent need for sustainable water governance, climate resilience, community participation, and collective action.
Together, we reaffirmed our commitment to promoting water conservation, protecting water resources, and advancing the Blue Community principles for a more resilient and water-secure future.
