🌊The Fifth River lives on!🏞️
The history of Cuenca will be told both before and after 16 September 2025.
On that day, we will all stand up in defence of the páramos, where our water sources spring from. Cuenca and Azuay will always stand firm against those who seek to harm nature and life for financial gain.
Because as long as there is a páramo to defend, the fifth river will remain alive.
The fifth river belongs to no one: it belongs to everyone. That is why, on 16 September at 09:00, we are gathering at the Church of San Roque to become part of its flow.
Let’s be the fifth river!
