In fact, our vision and mission have been aligned ever since the registration of Vaidic Srijan LLP, just that we’ve got connect just now.
SWS as the name suggests is an international society meant for the sole purpose of promoting the best practices in wetland research, education, conservation, preservation, restoration, and management, head quartered in McLean, VA 22102, United States. Their vision is to ensure that wetlands are understood, their importance recognized, and sound wetland science is used as a guide for wetland professionals and the general public to collaborate on research, conservation, preservation, restoration, and management of wetlands in our changing environment.
Vaidic Srijan’s take on Rights of Wetlands
In one of the recent global conferences on “international initiative dedicated to establishing and advancing the rights of wetlands”, we’ve witnessed the global awareness about the subject. The conference advocated for a fundamental shift from viewing nature as a mere resource to recognizing it as a living entity with intrinsic rights, such as the right to exist, regenerate, and maintain natural water cycles.
