Blue Community Council stands for Ecosystem-Based Solutions
Nature-based Solutions can play an important role in protecting water, restoring ecosystems and strengthening climate resilience. Restoring wetlands, forests, rivers, floodplains and mangroves can deliver enormous benefits for both nature and people. But from a Blue Community perspective, we need to be careful about the concept and, above all, about how it is increasingly being used.
